🌍💧 The future of clean energy is bright with advancements in hydrogen technology! A recent report underscores the importance of both green and blue hydrogen with carbon capture and storage (CCS) in the journey towards decarbonization. By 2050, clean hydrogen could help eliminate up to 80 gigatons of CO2! 🚀 Despite promising potential, the transition faces challenges, particularly in production costs. The IEA projects that low-carbon hydrogen will contribute 3.4 million tons per year by 2030, highlighting the urgent need to accelerate efforts to meet growing demand. TotalEnergies highlighted that “green hydrogen is two to three times more expensive than blue hydrogen produced from fossil fuels with CCS.” This calls for collaboration between policymakers and industry to boost the hydrogen market and ensure a sustainable energy future. 🌱🔋 #CleanHydrogen #RenewableEnergy #CarbonCapture #Sustainability #Decarbonization #HydrogenEconomy https://lnkd.in/gGUvWq9M
