Thrilled to announce exciting enhancements to the iconic Fox Theatre. We replaced and upgraded 5,000+ seats, with beautiful fabric featuring the original Fox logo, new cushier bottoms and backs, cupholders for drinks, illuminated row lights, and updated state of the art wayfinding. The 313 Presents team is eager to welcome guests for a festive holiday season this year. The fun begins November 6th with Elf The Musical.

On October 7th, LOEWE opened a new store in Chicago. Located on Oak Street, over two floors of a 1890s building, the 241 sqm store showcases a full offering of women's ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, small leather goods, sunglasses; and other accessories alongside its ever-evolving collection of art pieces. LOEWE Chicago Oak Street brings to life the CASA LOEWE retail concept developed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, establishing a fluid relationship between sculpture, furniture, and handcrafted objects to resemble an art collector's home. Hand-crafted ceramic tiles line the walls around a sweeping staircase fitted with an artisan-made Georgian-inspired wooden handrail. The deep blue, aquamarine, and rich brown color palette lends the space an inviting character. Warm, natural, materials of concrete, marble, and oak wood serve as a backdrop to highlight the space's artwork and interior design. Furniture selections build an atmosphere of graceful sophistication. Utrecht armchairs and wooden and felt Berin chairs are placed among a black terrazzo table, a tufted leather bench, iron martini tables, ceramic vessels, and a delicate Noguchi lamp. Four bespoke wool carpets featuring reproductions of British textile artist John Allen's rural landscapes Peveril of the Peak Brighter and The River Reaches the Sea are in dialog with the signature tile work. Hand selected pieces from LOEWE's global art collection are carefully displayed throughout. British artist Lorna Robertson's Courtyard (2022) balances innovation and tradition. LA-based collage artist Richard Hawkins' Little Girl Inside (2023) manipulates existing media sources to spark a new narrative. Two works of egg tempera on calfskin from New York painter Altoon Sultan Dark Corner (2021) and Lines and Loop (2021) adorn the walls. Sultan's meticulously precise work extends to viewers the opportunity to revel in the beauty of the everyday.
