About us
The Sacramento Children's Home is opening doors to the future by maximizing the potential of children and families. With eight programs across six locations, we are Sacramento County's most comprehensive child and family service organization, focusing not only on treatment of child abuse and neglect, but also on prevention and early intervention. We make a significant difference in the lives of 5,500 children and 4,200 families every year, giving them hope for a better tomorrow.

During their stay at the Crisis Nursery, Anna and David got to play, laugh and develop age-appropriate skills. The comforting, home-like environment of the Nursery allowed the twins to sleep soundly, eat nutritious meals, and engage in activities that were exciting for each of them as individuals. There are hundreds of kids like Anna and David who rely on the Crisis Nursery to keep them safe during an important time in their development. This early intervention prevents child abuse and neglect in our community and gives parents the tools they need to build a strong future for their families. Please share this story to support the work of Sacramento Children’s Home’s Crisis Nursery. #crisisnursery

We followed this adorable backpack on its journey from a donation from @SafeCU to distribution to our Meadowview Family Resource Center @meadowviewbirthandbeyond for their distribution event last week. Thanks to Safe CU, this little girl was beaming in her new floral and pink backpack! This is what you, the community, do for our families in need! 👏🎒
