⏩⏭ Forward progress was the theme of the week here at the Chamber! Liz (. had the opportunity to meet with Davon T., External Affairs Associate with the Office of Attorney General Rob Bonta to discuss priorities and needs of the business community within the Sacramento region. On Wednesday, we hosted a Lunch & Learn with Insperity and the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, focusing on essential employment laws and best practices. AcademySTAY hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. AcademySTAY is dedicated to supporting young adults (ages 18-24) as they transition into independent living. With a safe and supportive environment and equipped with trauma-informed practices, AcademySTAY helps youth develop essential life skills. We were thrilled to see community leaders like the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce, as well as Congressman Ami Bera, show their support for this important mission! Finally, and infamous Jim Alves’ selfie in action! Robert Heidt meet with Jim and Crystal Richardson to discuss our partnerships and the great things happening with the Chamber and Foundation. Have a great weekend Chamber community!
