    In honor of World Mental Health Day, we released the annual Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation Impact Report, highlighting the Foundation’s achievements in advancing its mission to make mental health a priority in every community. We’re proud that in the past year, the Foundation delivered $1.2 million in grants, reached nearly 30,000 individuals with direct mental health services and supported the educational programming in 70 high schools and local youth programs. Additionally, for the third year in a row, the Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation is providing grants totaling $250,000 to support ten nonprofit organizations serving the mental health of those in need, with a focus on youth, women, communities of color and the LGTBQ+ community. Congratulations to our 2024 Local Grant Program Winners: Awaken Pittsburgh, Entwine Community, Girls for Gender Equity (GGE), Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County, Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services, Kids Count in Alachua County, Red Hook Initiative (RHI), Rocky Mountain Equality, The Rowan Center: A Sexual Assault Resource Agency and You Gotta Believe.     We’re excited to share that Saks Global is partnering with Authentic Brands Group to launch a new joint venture, Authentic Luxury Group (ALG). Housing Authentic-owned luxury and accessible luxury brands, this innovative venture is centered on the goal of redefining and expanding the modern luxury experience for customers worldwide. ALG will serve as an incubator for brand growth through new strategic licensing agreements and distribution channels across sectors, including fashion, retail, digital, hospitality, real estate, art and travel, providing greater opportunities for brands to extend their reach to new audiences.

    In honor of Hispanic & Latine Heritage Month, our ¡HOLA! @Saks employee resource group, which serves to bring the Hispanic & Latine community together to celebrate their diverse cultures and promote enhanced representation, recently welcomed Letty Garcia, Associate Director of Harvard Business School's Leadership Initiative, for an impactful conversation with employees. In a discussion moderated by Jamillah Davis Hernandez, who leads buying for men's accessories and serves as the co-executive sponsor of ¡HOLA! @Saks, Letty shared strategies for overcoming barriers to leadership advancement within the Hispanic & Latine community, while also celebrating their unique strengths.     Saks Serves, our employee volunteer program, recently held a Back-to-School drive to support local nonprofits and the children they serve. Between our India corporate office, Tennessee Fulfillment Center, Pottsville Photo Studio, New York corporate office and U.S.-based remote employees, Saks Serves donated nearly 5,000 school supplies to students across our local communities as they head back to school. Through this initiative, we worked with impactful partners including Christel House India, Rutherford County’s Boys & Girls Club, Schuylkill United Way and Henry Street Settlement, to reach underserved communities. #Saks #SaksServes #CommunityImpact

    In honor of National Voter Registration Day, we are proud to partner with the largest nonpartisan voter registration and get-out-the-vote platform Vote.org to support voting accessibility. Voters can visit Saks.com/vote to find resources regarding registering to vote, checking their registration status and more. As part of this partnership, we are also debuting a window installation at the Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship, encouraging visitors to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 election. #Saks #Vote

    Saks Global CEO Marc Metrick shared a message honoring the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. As a New York based company with offices across the street from the 9/11 memorial, we are reminded daily of the sacrifices that were made 23 years ago. We send peace and strength to those who lost loved ones, family and friends on that fateful day.

    Today, we come together to commemorate the anniversary of the tragedy that took place just across from where our offices sit today, 23 years ago. The senseless acts of violence that took the lives of so many on September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten. I hold a special place in my heart for those we lost, and for the first responders who fought bravely to protect their own. Year after year, I am fueled by the continued resilience and passion of our city in the wake of the attacks. We’ve weathered storms we could have never imagined and come out stronger on the other side. It’s overcoming adversities like these that fill me with pride - I will always be honored to call this city my home. Please join me in remembering and honoring those that we lost, and lifting up those that continue to feel the impacts of this tragedy today. We will never forget.

    We are proud to partner with Spanish luxury house Loewe to debut a special edit of LOEWE’s highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2024 collection. LOEWE curated a distinctive edit of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, including five limited-edition styles of the iconic LOEWE Squeeze Bag, available only at Saks.com and select Saks Fifth Avenue stores. In celebration of the partnership, LOEWE is taking over the Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship with immersive visual installations and unique offerings inspired by the distinctive floral and vegetable motifs featured throughout the collection. Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of LOEWE and Saks’ Chief Merchandising Officer Tracy Margolies also co-hosted a launch event during New York Fashion Week honoring the first collaboration between Saks and LOEWE.     To celebrate the graduation of The New Wave at Saks class of 2024, our designer accelerator program focused on developing and supporting independent brands in accelerating their growth within the fashion and retail industries, we launched a dedicated marketing campaign spotlighting this year’s participants. The campaign features each brand across Saks’ digital channels and showcases the designers’ inspiring stories as well as their Pre-Fall and Fall collections, which are available for purchase on Saks.com. Additionally, each brand is featured in the Saks Fall Fashion Book and in a special window installation at the Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship. We also hosted an intimate cocktail party at L’Avenue at Saks to toast the 2024 class. The New Wave at Saks, presented by Mastercard, furthers our mission to support the next generation of design talent, and we’re excited to see the participants’ continued growth across the fashion industry.     Together with our long-time partner Oscar de la Renta, we were proud to host the annual fundraiser for the League to Save Lake Tahoe. The event, which showcased an early look at Oscar de la Renta’s pre-spring 2025 collection, raised a record-breaking $1.4 million for the nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
