Our Angel Tree Toy Town team finished sorting and counting, and we are SO thankful to announce we collected 588 toys and gifts at JOY FM & BOOST RADIO's recent Sticker Stop out at Mid Rivers Mall! 🎉🎉 Thanks to people like you in our community bringing these great gifts, we know so many big smiles will be made on Christmas morning. On Wednesday afternoon The Salvation Army happily served as the platinum sponsor for Bott Radio Network’s annual Pastor Appreciation Luncheon. Major Adam Moore, our General Secretary and St. Louis Area Commander, welcomed pastors and attendees at the event, and gave a warm, encouraging prayer at the lunch’s end. Tim Ezell, Fox 2 News television personality and pastor, spoke a great word reminding pastors to remember all of who God is, regardless of our circumstances. At this event we also invited pastors to garner their staff to ring bells with The Salvation Army this Christmas season, and handed out beautiful #SalvationArmy Christmas tree ornaments. The Salvation Army Pathway of Hope program leads families down a path of growth in multiple channels of their lives, increasing their stability, and, ultimately, their self-sufficiency. At The Salvation Army Quincy, Illinois corps, they recently celebrated five adults graduating and completing the Pathway of Hope program. “The bravery and commitment of the clients is incredible to witness,” said Coby Chandler, Pathway of Hope Coordinator and Case Manager. “Not only do they want change, but they are willing to commit to that change to positively impact their circumstances.
