Open House San Diego open call for sites! 📣 What | Open House San Diego 2025 When | March 8 & 9, 2025 Where | Sites throughout Del Mar, UCSD, La Jolla, Mission Hills, Bankers Hill, Point Loma, East Village, Barrio Logan, National City, and San Ysidro SDAF is proud to present this weekend-long festival of free tours located citywide. Join us for our 10-year anniversary! We offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at some of San Diego’s most iconic buildings. Each OH! San Diego site contributes in a unique way to the fabric of our city, with architectural, historic or cultural significance. This year we are excited to welcome first time neighborhoods of San Ysidro and Del Mar. We are also thrilled to welcome back a former favorite, Mission Hills! And back by popular demand we have UCSD, La Jolla, Bankers Hill, Point Loma, East Village, Barrio Logan, and National City. We invite all landmarks and hidden gems in these neighborhoods to join us in this celebration of our city’s rich architectural and cultural heritage! If your site has a story to tell or unique features to showcase, we would love to include you in the OH! San Diego festival. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, share your history, and inspire others to appreciate the beauty and significance of our city. Join us for our next SDAF Film Series where we feature Green Over Gray 🎬 Green Over Gray portrays the theoretical and design development linked to the Green Architecture revolution, through the analysis of some seminal projects by Emilio Ambasz, which have covered the current debate on climate impact and introduced a vision of nature that today, 40 years later, we recognize as a turning point in the history of the relationship between man and the environment. A perfect format for illustrating environmental care to vast audiences, showing how architecture can address the issue of climate change, better conditions for living, and better solutions for urban decay.
