Are you ready to dive into the depths of Scala 3 metaprogramming without the headache of messy macros or tangled syntax trees? At Functional World, we're taking you on a journey where the scariest thing you'll face is the ease of transforming data types 🚀 Join us as we uncover the clean and powerful compile-time tools of #Scala3 that let you convert between similar data types without needing to know the nitty-gritty of abstract syntax trees (ASTs). Say goodbye to complex macros, and hello to intuitive, elegant #metaprogramming. Together with Aleksander Rainko you'll explore match types, mirrors, typeclass derivation, and even some experimental features like named tuples, all while building a micro-library that lets you pull off one-liner conversions. Expect live demos, a few friendly compiler battles, and a whole lot of insights that will transform the way you think about data models in Scala 😎 📆 October 8th, at 6 pm CEST 💻 Watch us live here on Linkedin #FunctionalWorld #meetup #functionalprogramming

Last week, our developers, Aleksander Rainko and Jakub Kołosowski, returned to our old stomping grounds in London - all for an exciting product launch of one of our #fintech partners! This time, Scalacers traveled to meet with one of our valued clients in the #fintech industry, who specializes in secure automation and connectivity for the global securities finance sector. The team took part in collaborative design workshops and, as you can see, made time for some great team bonding 😎 When you ask developers for a snapshot of their visit, well, sometimes you get a glimpse of their playful sides. 😉 🎤 Even more exciting news: you'll have the chance to see and hear Aleksander as he takes the stage at our upcoming Functional World event on October 8th! You'll also be able to catch him again at Scala.io in November as a speaker. If you’re attending, don’t forget to say hello and give him a high-five! 🙌 Scalac is a #partner of this event, don’t miss out – jump in & join 🚀
