Following a December 2022 agreement to advance bilateral trade and investment, South Carolina recently announced the establishment of its newest international office – a London-based team whose work will cover the United Kingdom market. The new office will develop opportunities for foreign direct investment in the state, particularly in the life sciences, automotive and advanced energy sectors – as well as for exporting. South Carolina’s expanded global presence builds on decades of strong, bilateral relationships throughout the UK.
