David brings over thirteen years of expertise in software engineering, specializing in EO/IR mission systems and flight simulation software. At L3Harris, he developed advanced detection algorithms for real-time tracking of airborne targets, contributing to critical aerospace missions. David holds a Master’s in Computational Perception and Robotics from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. 📢 Scout Space to Unveil First-of-Its-Kind vLEO SDA Capability in Partnership with Dawn Aerospace We’re pleased  to today unveil an entirely new Space Domain Awareness (SDA) capability for very low Earth orbit (vLEO).  Scout Space’s pioneering “Morning Sparrow” mission introduces a first of its kind, low cost, rapidly fieldable solution to deliver responsive vLEO SDA from Dawn Aerospace’s Mk-II Aurora spaceplane platform. Scheduled for launch in late 2024 from the Tāwhaki National Aerospace Centre in New Zealand on, our first international mission integrates a number of never-before-seen innovations, including the first vertically mounted stereo optic SDA sensor solution flown on a reusable platform.  This cutting-edge capability sets a new standard for innovation in space security solutions. 🚀 Kicking off today! Scout Space is proud to announce our selection for the U.S. Space Systems Command's SDA TAP Lab Apollo Accelerator Cohort 4! During the program, we will focus on generating attitude change patterns of life for individual satellites using orbital data. Over the next three months, we'll develop solutions to detect and characterize changes in satellite orientation, including both bus and payload movements.
