We had the best time celebrating the people behind our parks and public spaces at our Love Parks Gala this past Friday at MOHAI! Our community showed up in a big way, and thanks to the generosity in the room, we surpassed our fundraising goal, raising over $389,000! It was a true delight to share the stories of our award winners: Debbie McNeil, Robert Stephens Jr., and Paige Reischl, celebrating their contributions to our community and shared spaces. We were also very lucky to have live musical performances by Tomo Nakayama, and NËSTRÄ, Tah-Jae Shanté and Tazz Enrico during our main program. We are so grateful to our community for coming together to support our work and mission into the next 25 years. THANK YOU – and stay tuned as we have so much more to celebrate in our anniversary year ahead! Photos by Danny Ngan.

Next Friday, our Love Parks Gala will celebrate the people behind our parks and public spaces – including our proud partners, like Delta Air Lines. Their support of our work to move parks and public space projects forward is an important part of their commitment to cultivating sustainable and livable communities locally as we combat climate change globally. Giving back to communities has been core to Delta and their culture for 100 years as exemplified today by investing their time and resources to care for the planet and the people within it. We are grateful for their Gold Sponsorship of the Love Parks Gala on September 20!
