To wrap up Pride Month, we want to introduce and recognize the leaders of PRIDE 365 - who help create a space for our LGBTQ+ community and allies year-round. We asked the leaders of the new employee resource group why creating PRIDE 365 was important to them, and here's what they said: "Pride 365 creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ employees and their allies to show up as their authentic selves every day. It means celebrating our community and providing representation and education to our organization." - Amanda Marr "Pride 365 provides an inclusive space and celebrates diversity. It creates security for LGBTQ+ teammates and allies to live openly and be proud of who they truly are. In the sports world, it is often hard to find community, and I truly believe that this ERG provides that and more. This month for Happy Hour with the Hawks, we visited Fats Chicken and Waffles, an LGBTQ+ owned restaurant, to celebrate Pride Month.

Congratulations to the newest Delta Air Lines Community Captain, Bellevue High School teacher, Luke Michener. Michener was awarded for his excellence in education, specifically his support for experiential learning with the Institute for Common Power. In honor of his advocacy for the Seahawks Truth & Purpose learning tour, Delta Air Lines has donated $5,000 to the Institute for Common Power to sponsor two local teachers to attend the next Truth & Purpose trip with the Seattle Seahawks.
