September 30th is Every Child Matters, a day to honor and remember the Indigenous children lost to the residential school system and to acknowledge the lasting impact on Indigenous communities. At Seneca Holdings, we stand in solidarity with the Seneca Nation and all Indigenous peoples in raising awareness. This day serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength of survivors, as well as the need for ongoing healing, justice, and education. Today, we wear orange to honor those who never returned home and to uplift the voices of their families and communities. #EveryChildMatters #SenecaNation #OrangeShirtDay #SenecaHoldings

We were thrilled to participate in the recent Marvin “Joe” Curry Veterans Powwow. As proud sponsors of this incredible event, our Seneca Holdings team had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and community of the Seneca Nation and other Indigenous peoples. Our presence at powwow was more than just attendance; it was a meaningful experience that reaffirms our mission of serving and supporting the Seneca Nation. Connecting with the community, understanding their traditions, and celebrating their heritage alongside them was truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who made powwow a memorable experience. We look forward to next year!

On June 15th, the Seneca Nation honors the late Calvin "Kelly" John, born on this day in 1920, as part of the Seneca Nation's President's Day observances. John, who passed away on October 8, 2004, served four terms as President (1946, 1950, 1966, and 1990) and held positions as Treasurer and Councilor. His leadership was instrumental during the negotiation of the 99-year Salamanca Lease Agreement in the early 90s. We extend our gratitude to the current leader, Rickey L. Armstrong Sr, and all of the past presidents for their dedicated service.
