Last evening, residents at our Liberty community gathered in the chapel for their most recent passion project! Residents from every level were joined by family, friends, and the community for a special concert with their new Boomwhackers! Residents and staff have been working with the Boomwhackers for weeks preparing for this concert. Each resident learned to play multiple octaves of Boomwhackers to cover a variety of songs. The songs played included Flight of the Butterfly, Rolling in the Deep, and many other hits!

The goal of the IN2L software is to deliver wellness-focused digital content, like personalized engagement, activities, and opportunities, that engages and delights residents from any device! The interactive software brings our resident's imagination to life through games, trivia, movies, and more!

On Friday, we held a special Blessing of the Pets event at the Mosquito Lake Dog Park! Even more special was that, with the help of Shepherd's Foundation, we were able to fulfill a Second Wind Dream for Anne Prybys, affectionately known as "St. Anne"! Anne is a Skilled Nursing resident at Shepherd of the Valley Howland and used her Second Wind Dream to enjoy two of her favorite things, furry friends and nature! Anne made special treats for each animal and helped Pastor Christine Orr bless the pets!
