Our incoming Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management (SHFM) Foundation Chair, Amy Franks, had the privilege of participating in the We Care Packing program, where she assembled care packages for our troops serving overseas. The We Care program allows SHFM members to support a member of the military by purchasing goods, packing and sending a very much appreciated Care Package to an Active-Duty Service Member. Every year, members, and friends of SHFM come together to send hundreds of care packages to our troops around the world. This small token of our gratitude goes a long way, especially during the holiday season.
