September marks a major milestone for Foot Locker – our 50th anniversary! We had an incredible morning kicking off the celebration with team members and Stripers ringing the NYSE Opening Bell. Thank you, Lynn Martin, for the warm welcome and kind words. For five decades, Foot Locker has been a global leader in sneaker culture, pushing boundaries, setting trends, and fundamentally changing the way people shop for sneakers. Today, we remain at the Heart of Sneakers, reimagining the in-store and omnichannel experience, strengthening our brand partnerships, and deepening customer engagement through our Lace Up Plan as we gear up for the next 50 years ahead. As families continue to plan for the upcoming school year, WSS made sure to bring some fun before the bell rang. 🔔🎒 Here at WSS, we recently wrapped up our Back-to-School Festival events across California, Florida, and Texas. We hosted 8 festivals in partnership with local community organizations and food and beverage partners! Cultivating strong connections within our neighborhoods is at the heart of WSS. Over the past weekend, WSS was a proud sponsor of the Spoiled Latina Summit in Houston, TX with our amazing SVP and General Manager Blanca Gonzalez being a guest speaker on the “Jefas Who Lead: Lessons from the Top” panel along with inspiring leaders Ada Ortega and Daisy Marquez. We sincerely thank Yvonne Guidry, the founder of the Spoiled Latina Summit, for inviting us to participate in this amazing event! The event was a great success, with over 200 attendees joining us for a day of inspiration, empowerment, and meaningful connections. Our booth was filled with tons of fun! We had giveaways, delicious paletas, a super cute photo booth, and a shoe customization station with exclusive decals by the amazing Sole Sply! Everyone left with new customized sneakers that showed everyone’s creative side y poder. 🤩 We celebrate all girl bosses who continue to break barriers and do business in style.
