  • At Sierra View, our team’s perspective is what makes us unique. In our 'Views from the Frontline' series, we're sharing what makes our hospital special through the eyes of our employees. Meet Susana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been with Sierra View for over 3 years. In her role, Susana conducts mental health evaluations, determines if patients meet the criteria for a psychiatric hold, and facilitates their placement in psychiatric facilities. She also collaborates with patients and their families to create safe discharge plans, whether that means returning home with support, transitioning to hospice care, or moving to a rehabilitation center. “I would say that Sierra View Medical Center is a special place to work for due to the people that work here. I have built a support system," shared Susana. "Every employee is aware of their role, which makes every case so much easier." 💙 Thank you, Susana, for your compassion and dedication to providing exceptional care to our patients!

  • At Sierra View, our team’s perspective is what makes us unique. In our 'Views from the Frontline' series, we're sharing what makes our hospital special through the eyes of our employees. Meet Alyssa, who has been with Sierra View for over 6 years! Starting as a phlebotomist, Alyssa completed our Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) training program in 2020 and is now the CLS Lead in our Blood Bank department. In her role, Alyssa ensures that all tests are performed accurately and promptly, providing important lab results to our physicians and nursing staff to guide patient care. It's been great to be a part of our own training program here in the lab, and to see others advance in their careers in the hospital as a whole,” Alyssa shares.
