💜 March is #WomensHistoryMonth, a time to recognize and celebrate the achievements, contributions, and leadership of women across all industries. At Silverstein Properties, we are proud to highlight the incredible women who make an impact every day 💡 Our first spotlight features Jessica Schoenholtz, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, whose leadership and vision continue to elevate our brand and drive meaningful engagement. ❓ Can you share a bit about your professional journey and how you arrived at your current role at Silverstein Properties? 🔵 I started at Silverstein Properties in 2011 as a Marketing & Communications Manager. The journey that led me here included working at public relations agencies, representing children actors as a talent agent, getting my Master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and working in the creative services department at Nickelodeon. In my current role as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications, I partner with our internal and external leasing teams to help attract and retain tenants within our commercial portfolio. ❓ What does Women’s History Month mean to you? Why do you think celebrating Women’s History Month is important? 🔵 Women’s History Month is about honoring our contributions to society, culture and history. The significance of celebrating women from all backgrounds empowers and inspires a younger generation, promotes equality and highlights all the fantastic and important things we do. The pressure on women is often overlooked and marginalized. I truly hope women continue to get uplifted and supported. Also, I believe that during these unprecedented times, it’s important that women continue to have choice and freedom to forge their own path. ❓ What inspired you to pursue a career in marketing? 🔵 I have always been fascinated by understanding your audience, people in general and what motivates them. I love taking those insights and then crafting a narrative to help shift sentiment. There are many ways to approach marketing, and that flexibility allows me to be creative within a business environment. Whether it’s pitching a story to the media, creating a brand or art directing photography for a website; it’s all about storytelling and shaping perception. ❓ Can you share a significant achievement or project that you are particularly proud of in your career? 🔵 Working on the World Trade Center has been the most significant project of my career. Being part of the revitalization is deeply meaningful both personally and professionally. I lost my brother Alexander on 9/11 and having the opportunity to be a valued member of the team at Silverstein Properties that has helped rebuild has been a transformative experience. ❓ What advice would you give to the next generation of women? 🔵 Your opinion matters. You have every right to be in the room and speak up for yourself and others.

"If you're really willing to work your tail off, you can make it happen. But you've got to give it everything you've got!" 🗣 Wise words from our very own Larry Silverstein, speaking during a fireside chat inside 7 WTC, where we recently hosted an event celebrating the rebirth of #LowerManhattan with New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate.

"In New York, amazing art can clearly be found anywhere, from outdoor public spaces to, well, building lobbies." We are pleased to announce that the brand-new Frank Gehry sculpture inside 3 WTC has been featured in #Timeout! This koi fish is just the latest by Gehry to focus on his renowned fish motif. During the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, for example, his giant sculpture "Fish" became one of the symbols of the games, on display overlooking the city's beach. Decades ago, Gehry also debuted "Standing Glass Fish" at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. https://lnkd.in/gAvKmFD6
