Last Tuesday, several SIM Tampa Bay members visited the Ronald McDonald House Charities Tampa Bay (RMH), which supports and hosts families who have children that are being cared for at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. RMH is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on community support. SIM Tampa Bay catered in food from Colony Grill for families currently staying at the house. Tom Barker and Bree Tramontana shared heart-filling stories and gave us a tour of the East House facility in St. Pete, that hosts 34 rooms for families. It’s great to see firsthand all the great work they are doing to support families with children at the Hospital and their local communities across the Bay area! J Stephen Kowski, MSEE, JD from Tampa Bay Technology Alliance, another outreach partner of SIM, joined us and spoke about their mission and how it impacts of the future of the kids that get involved with their Robotics programs and tournaments.
