The impressive “mobile education lab” and its curriculum cover a variety of industry skills and knowledge. The The Machinists Institute's mobile trailer is a fantastic way to bring teaching and training to off-site locations. Expert trainers Pat and Alex from the Machinist Institute share their vast industry experiences, offering students expanded opportunities for new career pathways in aerospace, electronics, robotics, defense, and more. A special thank you to the The Puyallup Tribe of Indians and their Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) for hosting a 4-week training program for Indigenous individuals and communities. We are also grateful to our other impactful partners: United Indians Of All Tribes, WorkSource Pierce , and Seattle Jobs Initiative. A heartfelt appreciation goes to Kolbi Monasmith, Sharlene W., Walt Porter, Brittany Barrett, Victoria Coppola, Sharnae St Clair, and, most importantly, the dedicated students for coming together in support.
