In celebration of #HispanicHeritageMonth, we are spotlighting the stories and achievements of our Hispanic and Latino staff. This week, we introduce you to Carla M. Coley! Carla is a vice president based in NYC who works with various clients. Carla's most impactful experience with SKDK has been working on campaigns that empower Black and Latino communities and foster resilience against mis/disinformation, including a 2024 GOTV campaign for Black voters and a Latino-focused public health campaign. Q: What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you? I see Hispanic Heritage Month as an opportunity to share the history, vibrancy, and diversity of the Latino community in the US and celebrate the joy of what it means to be Latino. Q: What advice do you have for fellow Hispanic professionals? Seek out spaces that not only make room for you but provide ample support for you to grow. I've been fortunate enough to find support throughout my career that has made it easier to build community and support structures for others.
