Works With SmartThings certification is now available through the Connectivity Standards Alliance Interoperability Test Lab! When your Matter devices carry the Works With SmartThings (WWST) badge, that lets millions of Samsung SmartThings users worldwide know that your products are the best ones for them. But we know that while certification is a critical step in ensuring good customer experiences, juggling multiple technology certification programs, and multiple “Works With” programs can create a lot of overhead for product makers. That’s why we built our WWST automated test suite (https://lnkd.in/gzVvE36g), and why in January, we announced that we’re working with the Connectivity Standards Alliance to offer an additional certification path for WWST. Product makers who submit their devices to the Alliance’s Interoperability Test Lab (ITL) will benefit from both the Lab’s real-world testing, but may also earn Works With SmartThings certification. Today we’re excited to announce that partners can now work towards WWST certification through the ITL, and we’re ready to start accepting more partners’ devices! This program simplifies the certification process, saves time and resources, and accelerates the journey from development to market. It’s a benefit for our partners and a win for SmartThings users who get access to a broader range of compatible devices. Ready to get started with your Matter product or want to learn more about Works With SmartThings? Visit the Interop-lab page (https://lnkd.in/ekvA6Hr4) for more details and click here (https://lnkd.in/eAr7jj6i) to share your interest in WWST certification.
