Last night, we celebrated Ellen Belknap, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB's induction into Junior Achievement of Maine's Business Hall of Fame. Ellen and Peter “Andi” Vigue, Chairman & CEO, CIANBRO were recognized for their remarkable careers and contributions to Maine's economy and communities. After 40 years of service to the firm she helped grow, Ellen continues to inspire, empower, and engage staff by setting an example of what it means to create value and make an impact. Not one, but two SMRT projects are published in the American School & University magazine’s 2024 Architectural Portfolio issue! Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine on 50 years in South Portland! We’re proud to celebrate this milestone and the incredible impact this organization has on our community! This week, they're opening their doors to celebrate this achievement. Designed by our very own Paul Stevens in the 1970s and building on his family’s commitment to supporting Maine’s youth, this project represents a relationship that spans five generations of the Stevens family. A partnership stretching back to 1931 with the design of the original Portland Boys Club, SMRT continues to work closely with the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine today.
