A little late, but now I have pictures! Earlier this month the new Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of Society of Women Engineers was officially installed here in Utica, NY during our Board and Senate meetings. It was amazing to be able to include my local community in this event while also introducing Society of Women Engineers to Upstate NY and Riggies and Greens. Beyond grateful for my family and friends to join us and celebrate a new SWE year! <3 My girls got their first SWE experience as well and were stoked. My favorite part was everyone rallying together to help take care of the girls, that really is what #TogetherWeRise is all about! Additional huge thanks goes to the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways for gathering up four troops to come and do a color guard, Alexis McKittrick as our outgoing FY24 SWE President and Dayna Johnson our FY23 SWE President for helping to provide over the ceremony and make sure we had a great celebration afterwards! And especially to Natalie Hoffmann for pulling it all together! All pictures here: https://lnkd.in/e-45Gt-j

SWE Celebrates Women's Equality Day! Let's remember the persistent and courageous women who fought tirelessly for women's rights. Their struggles were filled with hurdles, but their victory forged a path for all women to voice their opinion, and better control their destiny. Less than a century ago, these rights were unattainable. Yet here we are! #WomensEqualityDay #SWE #VotingRights
