Solar Advanced Warning Systems (SAWS) was created by needs in the market place for a safer ingress and egress solution.
About us
The patented SAWS System is designed to help minimize incidents on construction haul roads and intersection crossings. Through Smart Work Zone Technology, SAWS uses a traffic radar sensor to detect on-coming traffic and warn the traveling public of approaching dangers. Once the vehicle is detected, the system communicates via radio frequency with an LED Regulatory Sign Trailer, which then activates an LED Wig Wag trailer on the main lanes to warn motorists. The SAWS system only flashes when needed, thus minimizing motorists becoming acclimated to its flashing lights. Trailer Mounted units require no crash testing per category 4 of M.A.S.H. The SAWS system can work with all standard MUTCD legends. Meets or exceeds sections 2A.07 and 4L of the MUTCD.
