We're excited to be expanding in Texas! "Hundreds of cities are already successfully using SolarAPP+ to quickly and smoothly allow residents to install reliable rooftop solar energy and the lower bills that come with it. Houston and San Antonio are already piloting the service. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory estimates that in those areas where it is being used, SolarAPP+ saved around 15,400 hours of local government staff time in 2023, and sped up the permitting process by an average of 14.5 days." https://lnkd.in/gMEJXEPY

🚀 Software business with massive climate impact potential hiring first CEO & CTO 🌞 SolarAPP+ automates the permitting for rooftop solar and energy storage, with plans to expand to electric heat pumps, EV chargers and more. It is already deployed in almost 200 cities and counties, has processed almost 40,000 permits and has an ARR of $1.5m. The software recently spun out of NREL, and we're looking to hire our first CEO and CTO to turn the project into a non-profit business. This is hands down one of the most impactful climate software opportunities out there. We're looking for leaders with a passion for clean energy and making government work better, senior leadership experience at a successful B2B/B2G software startup, and a drive to make an impact. Join us in scaling SolarAPP+ to its full potential! JDs and application here: https://lnkd.in/gQPTrhvW #CleanEnergy #Hiring #Leadership #Innovation #GovTech #Climate
