We are excited to share that Solvita is advancing its commitment to innovation and sustainability with Project Sol Array. In partnership with IGS Solar, we are constructing a 1.5 MW solar array at our Kettering Research Park facility, which will power our allograft manufacturing operations. This initiative solidifies Solvita as the first major tissue bank globally to harness solar energy in this way. We expect Project Sol Array to be generating useful power by late 2025. This is just the beginning of our journey towards a more sustainable future!

Solvita is burning with pride as the 2024 Battle of the Businesses Grand Champion. The BOB is the top fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Greater Dayton, and this year raised $76,700. Solvita claimed the 2024 championship by beating the field of 27 teams. Solvita team coordinators Joe Zurawka and Mirriah Phillips and Vice President of Human Resources Chris Moore handed out awards Friday, June 28 and celebrated with the championship trophy. It will stay with Solvita until next June when Team Solvita will defend its BOB title. Congratulations Team Solvita!
