And let me tell you, this show wasn’t just bright…it was blindingly brilliant! 😎 From California to Texas, I made the trip to stay ahead of the trends and connect with top vendors in the lighting industry. This show was packed with innovation—from sustainable lighting designs to jaw-dropping pieces from Brazil, New Zealand, and Thailand. 🌎💡 The Spectrum Shared Showroom was a showstopper with decorative residential and commercial lighting solutions that left me inspired (and maybe a little tempted to redecorate my entire house). And let’s not forget those stunning chandeliers, sleek pendants, wall mounts, and vanities launching this season. Every corner of the Dallas Market Center was glowing with creativity and style!   • Atlanta, You Kept Me Busy (and Well-Fed)! 🍕✈️ What a whirlwind week in Atlanta! I spent three days in strategic meetings to plan for 2025, met with HD Supply merchants, and caught up with our amazing ATL-based team. Of course, no meeting is complete without great food, and day two kicked off in the most delicious way. We had a PK class featuring the new Halo Pizza Ovens now available on HomeDepot.com. Urban Slicer Pizza Worx joined us, serving up fresh pizzas straight from the Halo oven—ready in minutes! Pizza for Breakfast? Yes, please. 🍕😋 Kyle Vollhardt also shared updates on the new Bernzomatic products we’re launching in Contractors’ Warehouse. It’s exciting to see these tools hitting the market! We wrapped up with an incredible dinner alongside 18 of our ASC team members. From there, it was a quick trip to Jacksonville for customer meetings with Todd Kaelin of Hettich America before catching the last flight home. Despite the delays, I made it back to recharge for a few days before the next adventure. Busy, productive, and full of connections—it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.   • Week 2 of back-to-back travel, and where else would I land but VEGAS! 🎲 Last month I attended the ISSA trade show—an incredible opportunity to meet with clients, and customers, and see what's trending in the industry. It’s all about staying ahead of the curve and discovering the newest innovations that shape the market. Some of the amazing brands we connected with: Maintex, Ekcos, Diversified Hospitality Solutions, Odoban, Toter, and Sheila Shine (just to name a few). Derrick, our trade show rookie, joined us for his first event, and let’s just say he quickly learned the golden rule of trade shows: function over fashion. (Don’t worry—he’s rocking his new kicks now!) Staying at the Wynn gave me stunning views, and dinner at SW Steakhouse was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Shoutout to our server Robert for making it a night to remember—and for the surprise Anejo Old Fashion, which definitely packs a punch. Don Julio, we meet again! 😅 Now it’s time to take all the ideas, trends, and connections we’ve gathered and start planning for 2025. Tradeshows aren’t just about products—they’re about partnerships, creativity, and setting up for the future. Vegas didn’t disappoint, and I’m excited for what’s next! 🥂✨

  • A whirlwind NYC adventure, and oh, what a ride it was—literally! I touched down at JFK and headed straight into the chaos of the city. Traffic was a beast, we were running late, and let’s be real—heels and NYC blocks are not friends. So, Mike and I made the genius decision to hop in a Pedicab. Cue blasting music, lots of laughs, and… a $150 fare that left us wide-eyed and giggling. Worth it? Absolutely. Dinner was a dream at Estiatorio Milos, where the seafood was so fresh it felt like the fish jumped straight from the ocean onto our plates. Afterward, we soaked in the city’s nightlife until 2 AM, even squeezing in a stop at the legendary Monkey Bar. No seats, but I managed a quick selfie to say, “I was here!” Day two gave me a rare slice of downtime, so I wandered through Bryant Park, browsed Macy’s (hello, holiday magic!), and stood in awe of the Louis Vuitton storefront that looked like a winter wonderland on steroids. The evening wrapped up with dinner, finished training on Sunday, then a quick flight home to reset for the next adventure. NYC, you were chaotic, fabulous, and totally unforgettable!
