Meet Alaya Kitch! Alaya has been part of the SMB team for seven years and is the Assistant Branch Manager at our 32nd & McClelland location. As a heart failure survivor herself, Alaya gives back to our community by serving on the Four States Heart Walk Committee. The committee organizes an annual heart walk to raise money for the American Heart Association. Outside of the bank, you can find her spending time with her husband and three boys. They enjoy taking walks in nature, attending concerts, and spending their Saturday mornings at the farmers' market. Reach out to Alaya to see how she can help you with any personal, business, or non-profit banking needs! If you’d like to come out and help us support the Four States Heart Walk, visit our booth this weekend, October 26th, at the MSSU Leggett & Platt Athletic Center!

About us
Founded in 1979, we are proud to be the largest locally owned community bank in southwest Missouri. It all began in Carthage, Missouri, when Garry Denney, along with seven other citizens, decided to start a new bank. The first Carthage branch opened in June, 1979, with one million dollars in assets and over the years we expanded into Joplin, Neosho, Jasper and Alba. We now have 11 full-service branches, a Home Loan Center, and more than 50 ATMs to serve our customers. But most important, we have friendly people who are committed to helping you reach your financial dreams. Whether you want to come into one of our branches and speak to a banking expert, or prefer to do your banking on your phone or computer, we have the services and products to help you. With our wide variety of options, we have something for everyone — individuals, nonprofits, micro-businesses, small businesses, large corporations. We invite you to do your banking business with Southwest Missouri Bank — the true community bank that believes in helping our customers and our communities grow and prosper every day!
