Space Florida: Be where new ideas take off 🚀 💫
About us
Space Florida is the state’s aerospace finance and development authority. Space Florida is where leading aerospace companies get everything they need to see their new ideas take off. All the aerospace communities want your business and say they can help. But it takes more than tax incentives, some quick cash, and a ribbon cutting to really get a new idea off the ground and ensure sustainable, long-term growth. In Florida businesses can take their place in the new space economy, or any other aerospace market, with direct access to established infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and an environment built for innovation. And only Space Florida brings unrivaled experience, unmatched financial tools, and an unbeatable location to the table.

This partnership reflects Space Florida’s mission to support pioneering technologies and invest in the infrastructure required to ensure our state remains at the forefront of the global space industry. The Launch and Landing Facility is an ideal location for Star Catcher’s groundbreaking work, and we are thrilled to support the advancement of power beaming technology.
Hot off the press! 📰 📣 Today, we're excited to announce a strategic partnership with Space Florida to advance the world’s first space energy grid. As part of this partnership, we will conduct a large-scale demonstration of our powering beaming technologies at the historic Launch and Landing Facility (LLF) later this summer. We couldn't be more excited to be testing our groundbreaking technology on the same runway that was used for Space Shuttle landings until its retirement in 2011. The partnership also includes a Space Florida investment into Star Catcher, underscoring the State of Florida’s commitment to fostering innovation and driving the growth of Florida’s space economy.
