Santa truly made spirits bright as he visited our company on Saturday, December 2! We hosted over 650 guests. This event served as a splendid opportunity to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of 2023 and eagerly anticipate the promising opportunities that lie ahead in 2024. Santa, with his jolly spirit, had surprises for everyone, ensuring that the magic of the season touched every guest. The children's laughter echoed through the air as they jumped around in the bouncy houses and took a journey aboard the choo-choo train. Meanwhile, the teenagers had a blast engaging in a variety of activities, from testing their racing skills on Nascar simulators to showcasing their competitive spirit in air hockey and foosball matches. For those seeking a bit of adventure, ax throwing and big buck hunter provided an adrenaline-filled experience. The adults indulged in friendly competition, trying their luck at bingo and showing their skills on the pool table. All the while, the air was filled with the savory aroma of delicious ribs, mouthwatering pulled pork, and crispy fried chicken. To sweeten the celebration, a delightful spread of ice cream awaited as the perfect finale to a day. Here's to the magical holiday season, the accomplishments we've achieved, and the exciting journey that awaits us in the upcoming year! #holidayseason #holidayfun Magdalena Domzalska-Pol, Maleah Meredith, Kate Daly, Madison Evans, Mark Whitten, Brandon Burrell, Thomas Mace, Chad Raynes, Jason Cheshire, Jason Rakes, Joe Buff, Ralph Short, Christopher Davis, Lisa Stanton, Rodney Curvin, CSP

🗣 "I got my start as an hourly manufacturing employee right out of college; it was the best job out there. But I was always left feeling left out and unrecognized by supervisors. I’ve carried this with me my entire career and have focused on creating a culture here that treats every employee with dignity and respect.” -- Spartanburg Steel Products CEO Mark Whitten To turn those lessons from his career into action, he strives to make all employees feel heard. After 48 incredible years, our team celebrated the retirement of Bobby Joe Smith, our second longest-tenured employee. His dedication and contributions have been vital to SSP's success. We honored Bobby Joe with cake, heartfelt speeches, reliving fond memories, and our treasured company tradition of cutting off the pant leg of the retiree. Bobby Joe, you will be greatly missed, and we wish you the very best in this new chapter!

We were thrilled to host the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) at our SSP facility yesterday! It was fantastic to add our company logo to their traveling bus and share a fun-filled day with their team. The festivities included a delicious spread of ice cream, pizza bites, chips, and cookies, alongside trivia, games, and a raffle with exciting prizes. We were honored to be a part of this event and to be able to celebrate the bright future of American Manufacturing! A big thank you to the AEM team for visiting and to everyone who made this event memorable! Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)
