👋Some familiar friends and new faces from Chase are in the house, cleaning and prepping gently used books to be distributed to Nevada's children in need. Thousands of books are circulated in and out of our warehouse daily and we rely on the support from generous corporations like Chase to help us get books into the hands and homes of children in underserved communities. Thank you so much! 👋

Our themed Book Preps have been nothing short of amazing. From channeling our inner Taylor Swift to feeling the force with Star Wars, we've loved prepping gently used books for kids in underserved areas. You're never too young to develop a love of reading. Our interactive playgroups are designed to help little ones build essential literacy skills. 📚✨

The school year is rapidly approaching, and we need mentors to help volunteer for our Books & Buddies program. Books & Buddies is a reading program that partners students with volunteer mentors acting as reading companions. These mentors provide the much-needed individualized support to foster a love of reading while improving literacy skills and confidence. 🚌 In preparation for next school year (2024/2025) we have several orientations scheduled and are offering them at 2 locations: In Henderson at Spread the Word Nevada’s main office, and in Las Vegas at Findlay Honda Centennial.
