Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a common fertility treatment for individuals and couples struggling to conceive, as well as for same sex female couples building their families with the use of donor sperm. While IVF is the most effective treatment option for overcoming an infertility diagnosis and achieving pregnancy, depending on your case and diagnosis, IUI may be recommended as a first treatment because it is a relatively simple, less expensive and less invasive procedure. Last week, we celebrated the "Support for Your Fertility Journey" content collection, created in partnership with Headspace, with community events in Portland, San Francisco, and New York City. Mental health support is such an important piece of fertility care, and individuals navigating fertility deserve space to come together to talk, share, learn, ask, listen, laugh, and grieve. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in these events, for engaging with the collection and sharing anecdotes about your own journeys. 💙

In recent years, traveling for fertility treatments has become an increasingly popular option for individuals and couples seeking to start or expand their families, as well as for those wanting to preserve their fertility for the future through egg freezing. The decision to undergo fertility treatment is deeply personal, involving emotional, physical, and financial considerations. The idea of leaving your home city for treatment might seem daunting at first; however, it’s a more seamless process than you may think! When you’re open to traveling for treatment, you also open yourself up to more options for high quality, personalized, and compassionate fertility care. Click here to read more about some of the reasons why someone might choose to travel to another city for fertility treatment or egg freezing, and what we do at Spring Fertility to make sure you’re supported through each step of the process: https://loom.ly/r3p_no0

PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is a major topic of conversation in the reproductive health space, and we often hear questions from patients with PCOS around how (and if!) their diagnosis could impact their fertility. It's important to understand that PCOS is not a one-size-fits-all diagnosis, and hearing stories from individuals like Dria can be so helpful for building community and starting conversation to find the resources you need to feel supported through empowered decision-making about your future! At Spring, destigmatizing fertility and reproductive health conversations is of the utmost importance to us to make sure that people are making empowered and informed decisions about their bodies and futures. As fertility and reproductive health become more and more “talked about” topics among individuals seeking more active roles in their health and wellness, we’re so happy to see forward-thinking brands bring products and services to the conversation as support resources to make proactive care more accessible. In addition, they are creating spaces for education and community, where dialogue can continue to evolve, experiences can be shared, and questions can be answered. Click here for 9 brands we'd love to shout out for the work they're doing in fertility and reproductive health: https://lnkd.in/edhgJPSA Brands mentioned include: Headspace, SotoMethod, Modern Fertility, Winx Health (formerly known as Stix), Frida, Wisp, Chiyo.
