During the bootcamp, our team engaged in hands-on learning, collaborative exercises, and insightful discussions, all aimed at enhancing their expertise in budget management and financial planning. The energy and enthusiasm were truly inspiring! Great turnout for the housing fair this week at The University of Cincinnati! And some nice weather for a day out of the office!

We had our State of The Company presentation on Tuesday and it couldn't have gone better! We talked about wins from the previous quarter, gave kudos for great work, and welcomed a whole bunch of new staff. Then we talked about the overall company goals and where we're headed in the future. These meetings are crucial to our overall growth and success. It's important to us that every team member understands the goals of the company and how they fit into us achieving those goals and growing together. Getting everyone together in one room to discuss was a great reminder of what we're all working towards and how we can all assist one another as a team, even from across different communities. The happy hour and pizza afterwards wasn't a bad way to end the day, either. Want to be a part of this awesome team? Outside of our conventional portfolio, we love that we can offer boutique apartments that give people the option of a smaller, more intimate apartment community. We've added granite countertops, new LVP flooring, and made the building pet friendly. Our goal is to build homes that we would want to live in. I'd say we succeeded with this one. #RedefineTheLivingExperience

We love creating value in our communities. The Ave opened its doors in 2020 and even though it had great amenity spaces, when SPS started managing, we saw room for improvement. This included opening up the downstairs community room and making it more inviting for residents and guests alike, with fresh furniture and plant designs. Upstairs you'll find a conference room with coffee machine, perfect for WFH meetings. And next door is the rooftop community space available for private use, complete with golf simulator to keep your swing consistent through the winter months. This is a great example of how we at SPS look at a community. We never settle on the status quo. We look beyond what is in front of us and see what could be. Creating value isn't just something we do for our investors, it's part of our goal of redefining the living experience. Creating value starts with meeting and exceeding the needs of our residents. When you begin your focus on the resident, and you have a great team that believes in these ideals, success is all but assured.

A little before and after for your Wednesday! We're so happy with the way the exterior painting came out on our Minto buildings in Hyde Park that we had to share. These studios are renovated both inside and out and we couldn't be more proud of how they turned out.
