We had another exciting 8th Grade visit today. We were thankful to welcome students from both St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School and St. Mary Catholic School attending the visit, touring our school, meeting and interacting with our students.

We were thrilled to have the 8th Grade students from both Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School (Our Lady of Guadalupe School Houston) and Resurrection Catholic School (Resurrection Catholic School - Houston) visit our campus today!

St. Peter Catholic will be hosting an Open House for interested students and families for Admission in the 2025 - 2026 school year that will include: - Student-led tours - Information sessions with faculty - Information about our Admissions process - Meeting & speaking with current St. Peter families - Meeting & speaking with our Career & Technical Partner organizations Online registration is available here - https://lnkd.in/gjDh3E8W

The students in our Education Pathway are continuing their learning and recently worked on the following skills from their chapter readings: - Process and procedures for diapering a child - Process and procedures for clothing a child - Proper procedures for putting on and taking off nitrile gloves - Ways to teach children how to clean - Ways to teach children how to wash their hands

Congratulations to our partners at Brookstone Construction who this past weekend at the Apex Awards Gala put on by the Associated General Contractors of Houston, were recognized with the Bronze Award as the General Contractor for the Renovation / Remodel of St. Peter Catholic Career & Technical High School. Today, we were excited to host our second 8th grade student visit this week. Thank you to the students and staff of St. Jerome Catholic School for attending today's visit. Thank you again to our student tour guides, and the staff of St. Jerome Catholic School for making the time for the visit today.

Today we were excited to welcome Marcelo Eureste - Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Brownsville, Texas. The purpose of his visit was research into how our school began as they explore the possibility of creating a Catholic Career & Technical High School in their Diocese. As Texas' first Catholic, private, co-educational Career & Technical high school St. Peter Catholic is happy to share the lessons we have learned, and our excitement for the future of our school, and hopefully more Catholic Career & Technical high schools in Texas.

Every student who attends one of our 8th Grade student visits will be receiving in the mail a hand signed Thank You note. All of the members of our Faculty and Staff as well as some of our student leaders are signing these notes to show our gratitude for our 8th Grade student visitors.

Thank you to St. Augustine Catholic School and St. Christopher Catholic School for being our first ever 8th Grade students to attend a school visit at St. Peter Catholic today! Students from both schools had an opportunity to learn about our school, our Career & Technical education pathways, our Admissions process, were given tours of our school by our students, and had lunch and free time before returning to their schools. The students from St. Augustine even got to catch up with one of their former teachers who now works at St. Peter Catholic - Ms. Guzman. Thank you again to our student tour guides, and the staff of both St. Augustine and St. Christopher for making this visit happen.

Today we begin hosting our 8th grade student visits. All student visitors will receive the following St. Peter Catholic items - a drawstring bag, water bottle, pen, notepad, prayer card, "The Keys To Your Future" key chain, and our Admissions brochure.
