It was my absolute pleasure to be invited by the Council of Europe as a Keynote Speaker for this conference! I presented the results from two Deliberative exercises on AI in education I worked on at the Stanford Deliberative Democracy Lab. I argued for the use of more participatory & deliberative tools in the regulation of AI, by including the voices of those most affected by the technology. In the case of AI in education, that of students and teachers.
