Colorado's Plan to Spend Historic Broadband Funding is Approved by the NTIA Last year, Colorado learned it would receive $826 million from the federal #Broadband, Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program to build and expand broadband networks and connect unserved and underserved residents. Since then, the Colorado Broadband Office has been developing a strategy for investing this significant amount of money. The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) approved Colorado’s plan for BEAD funding! This means the state can now open the Advance Colorado Broadband grant program for BEAD applications. It's time for BEAD funding to begin creating meaningful change for the residents of Colorado!
