St. Luke's Chief of Nephrology, Dr. Thomas Pohlman, is a physician who wears many, many hats on behalf of us and his patients. Dr. Pohlman has practiced at St. Luke's for over 40 years and also serves as Medical Director of the Dialysis Unit, Medical Director of Grand Rounds, Chair of the Physician Wellness Committee, faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency, Chair of the P&T Committee, and member of several other hospital committees and groups. On November 7th, he will add another title to his vast repertoire: National Kidney Foundation "Award of Excellence" winner!🏅 This award is the St. Louis area's highest honor and recognizes those who, by virtue of extraordinary commitment, talents, and contributions, have been invaluable in promoting the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease.
