Today, on World Mental Health Day, we celebrate ROGER’s first anniversary. Over the past year, ROGER has been a lifeline for thousands of veterans and service members in crisis. In fact, 80% of ROGER clients reported better management of suicidal thoughts and feelings. And 46% said ROGER helped them prevent a suicide attempt. Together, we’re changing lives. Thanks for standing with us in the fight.

About us
Suicide is a complex problem that disproportionately impacts the military community. Stop Soldier Suicide is the only national nonprofit focused solely on solving the issue of suicide among U.S. veterans and service members. Our team is laser-focused on research and care that is specific to reducing veteran and service member suicide. Our vision is a nation where veterans and service members have no greater risk for suicide than any other American. We have an aggressive goal to reduce the military suicide rate by 40% no later than 2030.

23 years ago, we saw the face of deliberate and unspeakable evil when our nation was attacked by terrorists. On that day, and in the years since, we’ve also seen the character of everyday Americans who rose up to fight evil with compassion and selflessness, with courage and hope, and with grit and resilience. The spirit of our people – of those who answered the call to serve and protect – is the greatest source of America's strength 🇺🇸 Today, we remember the thousands of innocent victims lost, share our thoughts and prayers with their families, and honor the men and women who risked and sacrificed their lives so others might survive.

Rowe Price ours firm’s associate-led business resource group that honors the contributions of Veterans and their families, is committed to making strides to improve our veteran’s and service member’s mental health. Our partnership with organizations like Stop Soldier Suicide provide opportunities for the firm to make an impact far beyond our office walls. As an extension of our 5th Annual Ruck March, our Management Committee, led by our CEO, along with VALOR leaders and associates enjoyed a camaraderie and awareness walk around Baltimore’s Inner Harbor this morning. I could not be more proud of how our firm embraces the issue of mental health in our military community. Stop Soldier Suicide is an organization led by people I know and trust. This is personal.
