How to Turn E.coli Data into an Illicit Discharge Investigation 💧🔎 (0.75 PDHs) Originally presented live at at StormCon 2024 by Environmental Protection Specialist, Mary Polacek. This session will describe how the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE)'s Illicit Discharge team compiled the data and incorporated a nutrient source tracking element to its illicit discharge program. This small-team, low-budget initiative has been productive in narrowing down where the E. coli is entering the streams by identifying the actual outfall source.
