About us
At Street Soccer USA we believe everyone deserves to grow and develop within the supportive context of a team. Our mission is to fight poverty and strengthen communities through soccer. Through team sports, we develop self-determined problem solvers, team players, and community leaders and surround them with the support and opportunities necessary to achieve their goals in life. Street Soccer USA's growth mindset, play-based curriculum reaches over 15,000 kids, teens, and adults in low-income neighborhoods in 14 cities across the United States. Our Street Soccer Skills (Show Up, Play with Heart, Look Up, Take the Space, Build Your Triangle, Praise Great Play, Play the Plan, Adjust the Plan) progress two skills at time from fundamental, to individual, to team, to strategic lessons that translate the learnings of sports to real life. We work at the community level, partnering with schools, districts, local elected officials, after-school programs, faith-based organizations, homeless service agencies, recovery centers, and other community groups to develop and deliver programs directly or provide a mix of services including professional training and technical assistance. Street Soccer USA's enterprise arm is a leader in the development of facilities and events with social outcome purposes. - The Street Soccer USA Cup Series is a globally recognized 4v4 event hosted annually in, Capital Hill (Sacramento), Old SAC, Times Square NYC, Union Square San Francisco, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and LA Live Los Angeles.

The Leadership Sacramento Class of 2024 has been busy at events this month to share the transformative power of soccer with the community and raise funds for our class project benefitting Street Soccer USA Sacramento! ⚽ If you haven't already, please consider contributing so we can build a new soccer park in Del Paso Heights: leadershipsac24.org. Let's Recap: 🎥 This week, California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) President & CEO Lance Hastings hosted a special screening of The Beautiful Game. Following the film, Syphax Strategic Solutions President & CEO Scott Syphax led an insightful panel discussion with Lisa Wrightsman and TIFFANY N. FRASER from SSUSA to further explore the impact of street soccer and community engagement. 🍔 A few weeks ago, we joined the SSUSA X UNIQLO BBQ event to share more details about our class project with the community. We watched soccer games, enjoyed BBQ courtesy of the Sacramento Fire Department, and met some UNIQLO employees for the new store opening in Arden Fair Mall. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect with us in person soon.

"There’s only some special treatment that creeps in their day-to-day work. Tiffany for example always holds the bus for Lisa, the bus won’t wait for anyone else, but she laughs and says they’ll always wait for Lisa." Love is Love! https://lnkd.in/eipQXg22
