Our team has been working hard to successfully wrap up our chiller and cooling tower replacement project at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord. We recently completed commissioning to verify functionality of the new systems, and are now implementing the final quality control processes. This project replaced multiple chillers in an active military medical clinic to provide additional capacity and allow for future expansion and redundancy. It also provided a new cooling tower system to serve the increased facility demands. #StructSureProjects #BuildingCertainty

We recently completed construction of the new Leawood, KS Fire Station 1. The 21,000 SF project features a four-engine vehicle bay, training and exercise areas, living quarters/sleeping bunkrooms, kitchen/dining, an ICC 500 storm shelter, lockers and showers. In addition to efficient MEP/FP systems, the facility also included a vehicle exhaust removal system, a negative pressure gear storage room, and a special washer/extractor used to remove contaminants from protective gear after a fire. The new fire station will support the city’s ability to serve its citizens through state-of-the-art facilities. #StructSureProjects #BuildingCertainty

Our design-build team has been busy at resolution conferences to progress the design of the new Dunn Dental Clinic at Lackland AFB, TX. The team reviewed our designs in a collaborative meeting with the users and even constructed mock-ups of key spaces. This $74 million project will design, construct and outfit a new Ambulatory Care Dental Clinic, as well as supporting utilities, site improvements, parking, signage, antiterrorism/force protection measures, and environmental protection measures. #StructSureProjects #BuildingCertainty

The debate between popcorn and ice cream was tough, but Project Coordinators Darrian, Matt and Lorann and Intern Haven ultimately decided on ice cream while taking a short break from reviewing project schedules and meeting minutes. There are many reasons why working at StructSure Projects is awesome.
