From the emergency room to the delivery room, nurses assess patient needs, administer medication and life-saving care, are often patients' first point of contact, and offer authentic support to patients, families, and medical staff. Nurses are the backbone of our health system! Their jobs aren't easy, but they take each day in stride. That’s why our full-service, award-winning Radiology Department at St. Tammany Health System is at the center of so much of our healing work. From our variety of X-ray and ultrasound offerings to our accredited CAT scan, MRI and nuclear medicine programs, our radiology experts are trained and equipped to handle a wide range of diagnostic needs at multiple convenient locations throughout the community.
