As a leader in finance, procurement, or really any function, when you have the opportunity to expand your team, it’s both a privilege and a daunting task.
Especially with such a strong existing team at Sudozi, the bar is high.
-Can the candidate understand the value procurement brings to businesses?
-Procurement workflows can be complex. Can the candidate tackle complexity to partner with our customers?
-Procurement is highly cross functional. Can this candidate build trust and collaborate with all of our customer’s stakeholders?
While I’m not expecting Diana Hines to understand cash vs accruals on day 1 (okay… maybe day 10 😆), I have total confidence in her ability to not just check the boxes, but really thrive in the role in her unique way. Welcome Diana to the Sudozi team!
Thank you to our customers, investors, existing employees, and all the Sudozi fans out there to help us get to this point of growth.
Diana is based in Austin, and with our growing team, I’m excited to take advantage of our Oracle office space as part of the NetSuite Accelerator Program!
Thank you to Lauren McLaughlin, Ana Leyva, Kathleen Estreich, Mar Hershenson, Keith Bender, Kalyn Wright, Aaron Perman, Rachel Maddux and everyone else who helped in the process.
To all of my accounting, finance, security, and procurement friends reading this post, please feel free to add Diana Hines on LinkedIn and share with her your favorite fun fact about your profession.
