In response to Hurricane Milton, Sunshine Health, in partnership with Farm Share, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hope Florida, Florida Department of Children and Families and APD Florida hosted a disaster relief distribution event at Raymond James Stadium. Together, over 3,380 individuals were served in a time of great need. In the aftermath of both Hurricanes Helene and Milton, our team was quick to mobilize in the community and serve the impacted areas. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the over 250 incredible Sunshine Health volunteers who selflessly gave their time and energy to help with hurricane relief. Our team members donated over 1,600 hours of their time to serve the community in an unprecedented time of crisis. Our team has been hard at work this weekend at hurricane relief sites throughout the state. Today in Sarasota, we distributed essentials to those in need in partnership with Florida Department of Children and Families. In St. Petersburg, we partnered with Farm Share to hand out food and other resources. Our parent company, Centene Corporation, also flew supplies in to the Tampa area to assist with the need.
