We are thrilled to bring our village programming to Clackamas County. This spring, Clackamas Village will open to serve 24 individuals. This village will have community space, a large kitchen, laundry, showers, and additional facilities to help folks connect with resources. We deeply appreciate our new partnerships in Clackamas and look forward to working you!

Last week, Portland’s City Councilors got an inside look at the Multnomah Safe Rest Village! The tour highlighted the growth of the Village since its start in Fall of 2022, showcasing the program and all the resources available to shelter participants. MSRV's Program Manager, Ryan, emphasized the positive impact of support from those in the community like Friends of Multnomah Safe Rest Village, a local, grassroots organization that provides holiday meals, hosts community events, and contributes to various initiatives that support the Village and those who shelter there. Thank you to Councilor Dan Ryan and City of Portland for spending the day with us.

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible friends at Portland's Folk Festival who partnered with Sunstone Way for the second year in a row! Earlier this week, our fundraising team met with the festival's founder to accept a donation of warm winter gear and proceeds from the event! ⁠ Team members and our CEO were lucky enough to get to enjoy the festival and speak to community members about the work being done across our shelter programs. We're kicking off 2025 by celebrating the amazing achievements of 2024! Today, we're shining the spotlight on the Rockwood Bridge Shelter team, whose hard work and dedication helped so many community members along on their path to hope and housing last year. Hear from Team Lead Supervisor, Jose: “Rockwood helped NINETEEN people move from shelter to permanent housing in October, beating our previous record of sixteen individuals housed in a month! I’ve been doing this work for over ten years and I’ve never seen folks housed this quickly - some places don’t even do that in a year.” Here's to even more success in 2025!

Thank you Positive Charge! PDX for including New Narrative, Northwest Pilot Project, Inc., and Sunstone Way in your Cookies for a Cause event on Saturday! One count from a Positive Charge! PDX volunteer showed more than 500 packages of cookies were put together in under 2 hours, which is mind-blowing. What an amazing outpouring of community support for our vulnerable neighbors! More than 100 volunteers showed up with baked cookies, wrapped cookies into packages, and delivered them to sites. 🍪 These delicious treats made the day of our residents! And what a great way to meet new friends and reconnect.
