A lot of our clients say one of their biggest challenges with platforms like #Fortnite is figuring out player discovery, which can really affect their custom island's growth and visibility on the platform. Last week, at Unreal Fest, the topic of discussion was just that. Our partner, Chartis, attended the event, including the "Finding Success in Discover" session. Chartis Co-Founder and CEO Brendan Stock has shared some highlights: 🔸 Discovery is made up 3 elements: attention, engagement, and satisfaction. 🔹New key features for attracting new players are set to launch in the next 6 months: personalized discover pages and creator favoriting and..... Direct linking to islands!!! Deep linking will be especially big for attracting new consumers and retaining current players. 🔺Platforms like Epic are going to be experimenting more with their algorithm to guide this "discover" experience, we can expect to see more metrics on categories and impressions.
