In soccer, US-based TOCA Football recently raised $54M and partnered with the MLS for high-tech training facilities. And Kitman Labs, which contextualizes player data for organization-wide decisions, is used by NFL, NBA, and English Premier League academies. Upgrading play, preventing injury, and improving the overall viewing experience — sports tech promises to usher in an era of super-athletes and hyper-engaged fans.
