We didn't have the WordPress drama on our bingo card for 2024, and yet, here we are. Watching it unfold is like watching a soap opera 🍿 – only, it's a cautionary tale for the FOSS community and open-source companies. Open source shouldn't be abused for _leverage_ in personal vendettas and 💸💸💸 There's absolutely nothing wrong with making money with Open Source! However, claiming license abuse without solid ground, and playing both sides of "we're FOSS and GPL" and "Monetize to the max" doesn't exactly come off as genuine.
