After a year of trailblazing the concept to Revitalize Colorado Family Communities across the state, we have exhausted our funds to support it as a service to our communities. Without outside investment, the work has to take a pause. Thank you to the coalition of the willing - it is only because of you that we were able to get this far!

After 6 months of meetings with educational leaders across the state, we have just posted our DRAFT proposal for Revitalizing Colorado Family Communities: A concept for Community-Led work in areas impacted by population shifts and declining enrollment. We are at the Proof of Concept Stage, Step 1: Gauging Interest. Please read through the concept, share it, provide us with feedback, meet with us, and let's get this step funded so that we can support our Colorado school communities facing declining enrollment as a result of larger population shifts. Surpassing Distinction has developed a proof of concept that applies an evidence-based, community-impact model that lifts community voice, incentivizes district participation, and funnels resources into affected communities to mitigate the negative impacts of the shifts, which can result in school closures and rapid community decline.
